Karen is leaving tomorrow with her friend Layne headed to Nepal! They fly out of Atlanta at 11:30 Eastern time tomorrow (June 7th). They’ll be in Kathmandu from June 9th to the 14th. Sorry for the short notice to follow the blog…life has been crazy since school let out. So be sure to check the blog daily for the next week or so for new pictures and updates from Karen while she’s there. They are actually staying in the orphanage this time, so Internet access will be a little more limited than last time. She’s promised me that she would update as much as she could. So…here’s what we need from all of you:
1.) Prayer!!! – pray that they will have safe travel, that sickness would be no where near them, that connections will be made with new orphanages and relationships will be made with the people of Kathmandu. They will be working mostly with the New Creation Home in Kathmandu but will also be visiting the Dhading orphanage once again and hopefully connecting with one more while they are there.
2.) Get the word out! – Send the link to this blog to anyone and everyone! We want as many people as possible to follow the trip and learn about these great people in Nepal! You can direct them to www.incorruptibleministries.org. Make it your Facebook status for a day, tweet it, retweet it, email it!
